Current situation of laboratory filing of human infectious pathogenic microorganisms in China from 2020 to 2023

In order to understand the current situation of the filing of BSL-1 and BSL-2 laboratories of human infectious pathogenic microorganism in China from 2020 to 2023, to explore the problems in the laboratory filing, and to put forward effective ways and measures to promote laboratory supervision, collects the management methods of laboratory filing issued by provincial health administrative departments, collates the filing data of human infectious pathogenic microorganism laboratories in various provinces of China from 2020 to 2023, and analyses the current situation of laboratory filing according to different regions and affiliation systems. The results show that some provincial health administrative departments issue management methods about laboratory filing earlier but do not update them in time. The laboratory filing rate from 2020 to 2023 in China shows an increasing trend year by year, the filing rate of BSL-2 laboratories is greater than that of BSL-1 laboratories in the same year, and the number of laboratories filed and the filing rate vary between regions and affiliation systems. It is recommended to update and improve laboratory filing management methods in time, intensify the dissemination of laws and regulations to the competent authorities who need to do laboratories filing work, strengthen the filing work, improve the supervision mode, promote the construction of laboratory network, and improve the supervision level.
